We are excited to officially announce our upcoming EP, "From the Other Side," a 6-song project set to be released in June 2025. This EP represents a significant creative milestone for Xhalisse, and we can't wait to take you along on the journey as we bring it to life. Thanks to the generous support from the Regional Arts Fund, we have the opportunity to produce this EP and create an immersive, multi-sensory launch show that promises to be an unforgettable experience.
About "From the Other Side"
"From the Other Side" is more than just an EP; it is an exploration of sound, emotion, and storytelling. Each track contributes to a cohesive narrative that delves into themes of introspection, empowerment, and connection, blending our signature ethereal dream pop with grungy, raw edges. Our aim is to push the boundaries of musical expression, creating songs that evoke deep emotional responses and transport listeners to a world where beauty and dissonance coexist.
The EP launch show will take place in June 2025, ( venue yet to be announced) where we plan to transform our performance space into an immersive environment, weaving together visual art, light projections, instrumental interludes, and spoken word. We want our fans to not only hear the music but experience it on a visceral, multi-dimensional level.
Follow Us Along the Journey
We believe in bringing our community along every step of the way, and we've planned a series of events and content releases leading up to the EP's official launch. This journey begins with a special yard gig celebration in early December, where we’ll gather friends, close supporters, and local acts for an intimate event marking the completion of our tracking phase. This will be the first of several milestone events, giving you the chance to connect with us and witness the project as it evolves.
Throughout the next few months, we’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes updates, live video recordings, interviews with each band member in our "Faces of Xhalisse" series, sneak peeks of tracks, and more. We want you to see how each layer of this project comes together, from songwriting and recording to artwork creation and the final touches. We also have exciting plans for merchandise drops, vinyl pre-sales, and exclusive content, so stay tuned!
